Right now I’m sitting on a bed in a hotel room with two teenagers that just had soda and habitually stay up past 3am. It’s 9:30 pm and I’ve been in 4 states today, driven back and forth across the Missouri River several times, and went 75mph on a roller coaster, speeding toward the ground. I’m wiped out and i have a sneaking feeling these kids have miles to go before they sleep. What’s a mom to do?

I’m also typing on my phone because my darling daughter “needed” to borrow my laptop to post her latest video to her YouTube channel. When I said yes to that, I wasn’t aware she hadn’t actually finished making it yet. 🙄 She just passed 2000 subscribers today. For real?!!

Anyway.. it’s been a long freaking day. Tomorrow we’re hitting the water park and then I get to drive back home. By the end of this little adventure, I’m gonna need a few days off, but that’s not in the cards. It’s going to be a very long, busy week.

C and I both have doctor appointments, our Kitten Kayla is going to the vet and we have friends in town from Texas. Not to mention the work week is shaping up to be quite a bear too. Maybe it just seems that way now because I’m so tired and don’t want to deal with balancing 4 projects. I guess time will tell as the week goes on.

It’s almost 10pm and I’m quite done for. I’m calling this Sunday finally over and turning out the lights, hoping the kids will follow my lead (they won’t).
